Jobcare equips unemployed people with the skills, knowledge and confidence to overcome barriers and secure appropriate work. The engagement and support of both companies and individuals enables Jobcare to offer a range and depth of services to jobseekers.
Jobcare is privileged to have a large number of volunteers who give their time and expertise in a variety of ways to help unemployed people, e.g. mock interviews, presentations, small group facilitation, career advice, networking, and mentoring. And so, it required an efficient volunteer directory to effectively manage its volunteers. In addition, due to the specific requirements of the services, the charity needed a system that would allow it to find and match the needs of unemployed people with its volunteers’ capabilities.
To resolve these issues, Advanced Communities provided its AC Volunteer Directory component – a system that allows Jobcare to create, update and edit volunteers’ information in their database.
