Lightning Knowledge Component Update! (part 2)

We have some exciting news about our popular Lightning Knowledge package! We have developed an ambitious roadmap for a new version of our Community Knowledge implementation for the next few months and we are committed to producing a great new version of Lightning Knowledge for Community like you have never seen before.

  1. Guided Knowledge/Advanced Case deflection with statistics. (November’19 release)
  2. Knowledge article favorites. (December’19 release)
  3. Feature to follow Knowledge articles with email notifications on the newly published version. (January’20 release)
  4. Advanced AI-powered Knowledge search with highlights and multiple categories’ selection filtering. (January/February’20)

Following the announcement of the new features, Lightning Knowledge becomes a paid component as we want to ensure that every user gets an adequate level of service and support.

We will stop support for our existing free Lightning Knowledge Community component from the 1 February 2020. After this, the free Lightning Knowledge Community component will stop working. If you would like this date to be extended, please let us know as we may be able to grant a short temporary extension in exceptional circumstances.
